Stephen Szostak – Vice President, Account Director

Stephen performs an essential role for SMS clients, researching, developing and implementing media plans across all media (TV, radio, print and digital).

Prior to Strategic Media Services, Stephen worked for the ABC affiliate in Phoenix, KNXV-TV. Starting as an assistant in the sales department while in college, Stephen eventually joined the news department as a researcher and producer. In 2003 he was named political producer and went on to win an Emmy for investigative reporting in 2004.

Joining SMS in the summer of 2004, Stephen quickly came to understand the unique skill set required in the fast paced world of political media buying. Since then, he has executed more than $75 million in media buys spanning 50+ markets and is extending that expertise to research and planning. Stephen applies his multi-market, multi-media knowledge to help develop effective, efficient media plans for political and consumer clients.

Stephen graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
