With 20+ years at Strategic Media Services, Bancroft brings extensive experience leading a full-service media buying and planning agency with specialties in corporate image, B2C sales, direct response, issue-advocacy, and government/political campaigns.
This seasoned media executive prides herself on a proven track record executing large national campaigns ($100 million+) as well as highly targeted regional campaigns across all screens including digital, broadcast, cable and connected TV. Her work partnering with marketing agencies and national associations has honed Bancroft’s ability to work within short time-frames in order to get the job done while maintaining long-term client relationships through precise work and timely communications.
She continuously evolves cross-channel media plans to adapt to the latest industry trends. As part of this approach, she applies targeted data and synthesizes it down to the granular level of the media buys to achieve impact and reach the consumer goals in this ever-changing media landscape. Bancroft spearheaded the early adoption of micro-targeted and customized ratings on state and national campaigns, leading SMS as one of the first agencies in Washington, DC to focus and measure success using data analytics – today a mainstay of all campaigns.
Bancroft’s experience includes buying positions at Giant Food, Inc., the largest retail grocer in the Baltimore and Washington, DC metro area. She graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
